According to Boating Industry Magazine in their August 2012 issue the Average Unit Cost of Ski/Wakeboard Boats has gone from $22,362 in 1997 to $61,300 in 2011. At Dyna-Ski Boats we are holding the average down with our recreational ski boats. The two motored boats we build for ski teams are even below the average cost. Some of the three motored boats might be above the average depending upon the size and cost of the engines.
Dyna-Ski Boats custom builds outboard powered water ski boats for recreational skiers and show ski clubs. We have customers all over the world including Malaysia, the Caribbean, Moscow, Russia, the Cayman Islands and Canada. This blog is used to keep readers informed about what is going on at Dyna-Ski and answers questions that are frequently asked. You can also visit www.dyna-ski.com for more information about our boats. Contact Dyna-Ski at info@dyna-ski.com or call 715-854-7501.

17.6 Wake
Here is a picture we took the other day of the wake behind a 17.6 at 20 MPH (GPS) with my 11 year old son skiing. Rope length is 75'. Motor is a 150 Evinrude. Gas tank about 1/2 full.
Below are some pictures taken a couple years ago with a 115. Ropes are 85'
They got up on skis and stepped off with 3 adults & 1 child in the boat.
Backwards and Forward Barefooting
Backwards Barefoot Deep is easy to pull with a 115.
Just punch it and ease off as the footer comes up to back footing speed.
Flat Wing Kite behind an Open Bow 17.6 with 150 Mercury
Human Tow Rope on a BI V Drive Boom.
Please don't try this without proper instruction.

20' Barefooter including interior shots
Here are pictures of the Dyna-Ski 20' Open Bow Barefooter. Many of these are not on the Dyna-Ski web site. The main difference between the 20' Open Bow models is the sun deck. The Barefooter does not have a sun deck and the Open Bow 20' does. This Dyna-Ski has a three color hull which is an option on all Dyna-Ski Models. The 20' Barefooter has an optional front mounted pylon like the 17.6 Open Bow does. All the Dyna-Ski Open Bow models have the rear compartment for the battery & oil tank on one side and the storage compartment for wet stuff on the other side. The seats all use the same fiberglass bases.
20' Open Bow Pictures including interior shots
Here are pictures of the Dyna-Ski 20' Open Bow many of which are not on the Dyna-Ski web site. The interiors of the 17.6 and 20' Open Bow Dyna-Ski Boats are very similar except for the sun deck and large storage area under the sun deck of the 20' Open Bow. These are all three color interior shots. The pictures are not all from the same boat.
